An unusual, quite claustrophobic episode, set almost entirely within a single cramped set. Donna is only a bit part and the TARDIS does not appear (for the first time since 1975 apparently). The Doctor, a stewardess and some travellers must deal with unique alien threat that enters their stalled ship. This single room is where all the action takes place.
And the "action" is almost a mis-nomer. It's really all dialogue, sub-text and a study of human reactions to threats and peer pressure. The alien is never seen. It possesses a passenger and first begins to copy everyone's speech. Frighteningly, it then "catches up" and speaks at the same time. It then focuses on the Doctor, presumably as its biggest threrat, replicating only his speech. It then starts to move free, while the Doctor is paralysed and beings to copy the alien (or is the alien copying and speaking first). The alien convinces the other passengers to evict the Doctor, but the stewardess realises what's going on and saves the Doctor by forcing the alien outside.
Very different and mostly not a bad episode. Occasionally a little tedious. I suspect the actors probably enjoyed the challenge as there were some very long shots with a lot of dialogue.
There is also another glimpse of Rose on a TV screen - and again the Doctor does not see it. This is clearly building towards something - presumably some sort of re-union.
