A short turn around from our previous match, travel, concerns over security were all negated by another superior Socceroos performance. We were dominant again and had the match well and truly wrapped up by half-time. Tim Cahill continues to keep on keeping on with a first-half hat-trick and Mile Jedinak made the most of his game time with our fourth.

The second half was a snooze fest as Postecoglou gave other players a run. Mooy proved his value; we were a lesser team without him on the park.

The Socceroos are now back on top of their group - at least for the moment. This is where we want to be and puts all the pressure back on Jordan to get a result in their match before they head down under for a rematch that will most likely decide stop spot.

Postecoglou must be delighted with the response from the team to their poor performance against Jordan. Two wins, two clean sheets, seven goals and good performances. Bring on Jordan.
