Daylight Saving Time finished yesterday, which was unusual as it normally finishes on the last Sunday of March. This has caused the usual assortment of problems.
Most computers switched over at the right time. These days it seems that the automatic patching system covers you here. However many people reported their handheld devices, especially mobile phones, were incorrect, causing them to be late for appointments as alarms were one hour late. I also heard a report of people doing well at eBay actions as the usual last minute rush didn't happen because most bidders believed there was still an hour to go.
But my favourite was the woman who rang a talk-back radio program saying that her automatic, external window blinds were one hour late in closing. This meant extra sunlight into her house making it uncomfortably warm. And, of course, extra sunlight on her curtains. Finally, empirical evidence that daylight saving time fades your curtains.
