Petrol Station Rudeness

The setting: my local petrol station. The situation: there's one bowser free, I'm approaching on my bike and a car approaches from the other direction. He puts his indicator on. Who will get there first?

Damn it, he does. He had the right of way as he was on the same side of the road as the petrol station. He nipped in front of me. Exactly what I would have done if I'd been in his position :)

He takes the final free bowser spot ... and then goes into the shop?? I wait for a free bowser. I wonder what he's doing in there? Does he need something for the car before he fills up? Eventually he comes out with a purchase, gets in his car, reverses out and drives off. Without any petrol!

I look over at the parking spots on this side of the shop. Full. Then I realise. Rather than wait for a spot or park on the other side of the shop, he's used the bowser spot as a parking spot. How rude.

Indicative of our busy, self-centred society, if you ask me.
